Vettonia Cosmetics was created to meet the real skincare needs of women experiencing perimenopause and menopause — a stage of life where skin often becomes drier, more sensitive, and less resilient.

I am the founder of Vettonia Cosmetics, a registered nurse in my mid-40s, a toddler mum, and a woman navigating perimenopause myself. As my hormones began to change, I noticed the impact on my skin: increased dryness, sensitivity, dullness, and loss of firmness. Despite a crowded beauty market, I struggled to find natural skincare products specifically formulated for menopausal and mature skin — products that were both gentle and effective, without unnecessary toxins.

With a clinical background in healthcare, I understand how hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause affect the skin barrier, collagen production, hydration levels, and sensitivity. At the same time, I’ve always believed in the importance of using organic and natural skincare ingredients to support long-term skin health. This combination of medical knowledge and lived experience became the foundation of Vettonia.

Inspired by my family’s roots in the ancient Celtic region of Vettonia and Mediterranean beauty traditions, I began formulating small-batch, plant-based skincare using nutrient-rich superfruits such as figs, pomegranates, olives, and avocados. These natural ingredients are rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamins that help nourish, protect, and rejuvenate aging and menopausal skin.
